Baby Vaccination Schedule (India)

Enter your child's date of birth and get the full vaccination chart with the due date of every vaccine. Mark what has already been given, and the chart shows what is given, due now, coming up or overdue. Choose the free government (UIP) schedule or add the extra vaccines advised by the IAP. Download or print it as a PDF.

Which schedule is this based on?

It follows the national Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) of India - BCG, OPV, hepatitis B, pentavalent, rotavirus, fractional IPV, PCV, measles-rubella, JE (in the districts that use it), vitamin A and the DPT, Td boosters - and, if you choose it, the extra vaccines recommended by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). Schedules are updated from time to time, so confirm with your doctor.

How are the due dates worked out?

Each vaccine has a standard age - for example 6 weeks, 9 months or 16 to 24 months. The tool adds that age to the date of birth to give the due date, and compares it with today to show the status: given, due now, due in the next 30 days, upcoming or overdue.

What does "Overdue" mean? Is it too late?

It only means the usual time window has passed. Most vaccines can still be given late and the doctor will tell you the catch-up plan, so go to your health centre or paediatrician as soon as you can.

Which vaccines are free?

The UIP vaccines are free at government health centres and anganwadis. The IAP extras (such as influenza, typhoid, hepatitis A, chickenpox and HPV) are usually given at private clinics for a fee, though some states offer a few of them. Ask your health worker what is available in your area.

Is this a medical record?

No. It is a planning chart to help you remember. Keep the official vaccination card from the hospital, and always follow your doctor's advice. The last column is left blank so the clinic can write the date and sign.

Is my child's information stored?

No. The details are used only to draw the PDF and are not saved on our server. A copy of the form stays in your own browser so you do not lose it if you refresh the page.
