Adding a password requires converting the watermarked pages to images first, so the output will look identical but its text won't be selectable or searchable anymore.
Note: This tool edits the PDF's actual pages directly (via pdf-lib) — no rasterizing, so text stays selectable and quality stays identical to the original, unless you turn on password protection above.
